Happy fall semester! Leaves changing color, crisp autumn air…and more econ videos. I got partway through a microeconomics 101 course before, and now I’m going full-steam ahead to get a complete set of micro and marco done, especially for the students and instructors out there. Here’s a sampling of the new content:

You can see more complete information about the videos here (also accessible via the “Econ 101 Videos” link above), or you can view the entire YouTube playlist, channel, etc. here.

Loving the EDIWM border to the videos! These seem like a great resource for giving students a taste of basic economics concepts. Two suggestions: if you were sitting down, it might reduce the ‘shuffling factor’; and if you can mess with the colour warmth of the videos in your editing software of choice, it would look a little less washed out.
Great work, though, as always – keep the posts coming!

I thought the shuffling factor made these particular videos (where I don’t really have anything to put on the board) less awkward rather than more awkward. 🙂 I can’t figure out what’s up with the color balancing- I do a custom white balance on the camcorder, and the videos look more normal in my video software than they do on YouTube. Very weird.
