Are you sick of taxes yet??? I meant the videos, not, well, actual taxes…
The first two videos show how to show a tax on a supply and demand diagram without shifting any curves- this approach is much more convenient than the explicit tax on producers or consumers setups that I showed before, and it’s going to serve us well when we start playing around with the tax diagrams.
The second two videos go through some general rules about taxes- if you understand the tax model, these rules shouldn’t require memorization, since you can easily derive them when you need them, but it’s still helpful to have a few overall points to remember. (Also, these videos are helpful even if you can’t be bothered with the explicit tax models from before.)
