Time’s Most Influential People…

Okay, so this isn’t specifically economics-related (though a number of the finalists are economists of various forms, which is promising), but I thought it would be interesting and educational.

Time magazine has an online poll that is in some fashion being used to determine the ranking of the 100 Most Influential People In The World. There are 200 or so finalists, and you can go through each of them, read a short bio, and then give them an influence score of 1 to 100. If nothing else you will learn something, since I will even admit that I was not familiar with all of the finalists beforehand. Furthermore, the poll results are kind of fascinating, since you can really see that the online pollers are not so much a cross-section of the world’s population…
